Bill Sanderson was born in Union City the son of Billy and Diane Sanderson. He attended the Kenton School where he was involved in FFA. Bill graduated from Lambuth College where he met his wife, Valerie. They have been married 28 years and are the parents of three children.

Bill is a successful businessman operating a regional furniture and appliance store, C.W. Sanderson’s for 27 years. Over the years, he’s managed commercial and residential real estate properties and been active in the community. Bill and his family have shown and trained Tennessee Walking Horses for the past 35 years winning many awards at the Walking Horse Celebration in Shelbyville.

The Sanderson’s are members of Kenton First Methodist Church. Bill currently serves as a Planning and Zoning commission member, Kenton School Board member, and is an advisory board member of the First State Bank. Bill also served as Chairman of the Kenton Merchants Association.
