Thanks to the volunteers, contributors and voters who helped me wage my campaign, “Bill Sanderson for State-Representative”.

·         My campaign knocked on 20,000 doors.

·         We shook 23,000 hands.

·         I walked 240-miles.

·         We called 5,250 households (person to person).

·         I drove 3500-miles (in my S-10).

·         I marched and played my trumpet in 6-parades.

·         I campaigned for 7-months.

·         I was invited to dinner 13-times.

·         I gained 10-pounds.

·         I spoke at 23-events.

·         I served 500 hotdogs.

·         And I still lost the Election!  By 2-percent!

Of course I am disappointed, as are many of my friends and supporters. I could not have run this campaign alone. I have made 1000’s of new friends… life friends. This was the hardest I have ever worked and the most fun I have ever had. This was the closest a conservative has ever come to winning this House Seat …only 2-percent! What does the future hold for Bill Sanderson?  Back to my family and back to my business- C.W.Sanderson’s. In only seventeen-months a decision will be made as to my political aspirations. I’ll keep you guessing.
