Bill sees the need for increased industrial recruitment and incentives for industry to locate in West Tennessee. He encourages skills and technology training for adults.

• Supports offering tax incentives to businesses who hire local workers when relocating to our community

Bill has a plan to hold the line on rising gas prices and improve our economy.

• Cap state gasoline tax - no increases.

• Provide tax credits to businesses who use alternate energy sources.

• Promote alternative energy sources such as solar, wind hydroelectric, and geothermal.

• Offer tax breaks to businesses that hire local workers when relocating to Tennessee.

• Oppose new regulations that increase the cost of doing business in Tennessee.

• Work with local leaders to attract new businesses and retain those already here.

• Oppose a state income tax or state property tax.
